2. YOGA FOR HEALTHY JOINTS

Are you one of the 34 million Americans with
arthritis? The most common type of arthritis is
called osteoarthritis (OA). OA is a joint disease
in which healthy cartilage that cushions bones
at the joints breaks down through wear and
tear. This can lead to stiffness, pain, swelling
and limit the range of motion around the
effected joints. Specific Yoga poses are
scientifically linked to increased flexibility
and healthy cartilage. In this 4-part series,
you will learn the physiology of arthritis and
how Yoga can help. Classes will include poses
on the mat or chair and standing.
This is not a drop-in class.
