We are delighted to announce our new Veterans Resource Specialist available at the Center for members of the military.

This program is designed in partnership with the Shoreline American Legion post #227 to offer assistance in navigating life issues encountered by individuals out of the military by offering vital resources with information on housing, job opportunities, education possibilities, counseling and funding for life sustaining items.

Meet Violet Velazquez. Beginning October 4th she will serve as our in-house Veteran Resource Specialist. She has served as Operations Analyst in the Navy and is currently enlisted in the Navy Reserve.

Her varied skills and experience working with veterans includes assisting with accessing Disability Benefits, unit career counseling, and serving as a Rent Support Specialist.
